Joseph Baumert, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and Director of the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program (FARRP). His research focuses on the development and improvement of immunochemical methods for detection of food allergens and the development of quantitative risk assessment models for food allergen exposure assessment.
